Bonus types — the mechanics, not the marketing

Match / deposit bonuses
The operator credits bonus funds as a percentage of a qualifying deposit, up to a stated cap. Those funds are typically locked behind wagering: you must stake a multiple of the bonus (sometimes deposit plus bonus) before any converted winnings can be withdrawn. Game weighting matters — many slots contribute 100%, while table games often contribute far less or nothing.
Free spins
A set number of spins on named titles. Winnings usually land as bonus balance with their own wagering and a max cashout. Check which studio’s game is attached; a spin package on a high-volatility Hacksaw title behaves differently from one on a low-volatility classic.
Cashback
A percentage of net losses over a period, returned as cash or bonus. Cash versions are simpler; bonus cashback often carries wagering. Always read whether cashback is calculated on settled stakes or on a narrower game set.
